Newsone understands that all might not be well with the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu as he is reportedly on the run following a major move taken by the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
This online news platform understands that a report filed by The Will Nigeria and sighted by Newsone says that Nnamdi Kanu, who doubles as director of Radio Biafra, is currently on the run following the official request by President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal government for his arrest and extradition from the United Kingdom with the international police (Interpol) on his trail.
The application of Kanu’s arrest, Newsone learned, was made by the government about two weeks ago through the official diplomatic channel at the ministry of Foreign affairs.
This, Newsone reports, is coming at the time Nnamdi Kanu had ordered a total shut down of the Southeast, Lagos State and Abuja on May 30.
Following the request to extradict the Biafra activist, Newsone learned that Nnamdi Kanu hurriedly left London, the United Kingdom where he was based for sometime.
Meanwhile, Newsone reports that Nnamdi Kanu ordered the sit-at-home to celebrate those killed during the Biafra civil war. Kanu is a British/Nigerian citizen who is agitating for the Republic of Biafra.
