BREAKING: Bomb Explosion Rocks Port Harcourt Market

Bomb explosion has rocked Port Harcourt market.

Newsone reports that an explosion has rocked parts of mile 3 market in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Rivers State, south-south Nigeria.

This online news platform understands that the explosion which occurred around 6:30am on Monday, May 31, sent people especially at Mile 3 motor park running to different places for safety.

Though no life was lost, many people were reportedly injured, a report monitored on The Nation online by Newsone Nigeria said.

Port Harcourt bomb explosion

A source within the market said the explosion caused panic in the area with the spokesman of the Rivers Police Command, SP. Nnamdi Omoni, sayig that the police were on their way to the area to verify the incident.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that the bomb explosion is coming barely three months after an inferno razed a part of the market.
