Newsone reports that Canelo Alvarez, a Mexican superstar was back in action on Saturday night in Arlington, Texas, when he took on Billy Joe Saunders for a trio of titles in the super middleweight division.
This online news platform understands that the bout headlined a four-fight card from AT&T Stadium that had more than 70,000 fans in attendance and much more watching around the world.
Coming into the bout, Saunders was hoping to unify the super-middleweight world titles and pull off one of the biggest shocks in British boxing history.
This, Newsone reports that, made the Briton to put his WBO title on the line, while the Mexican superstar defended the WBA and WBC titles at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, the United States, which is the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Canelo categorically said he wants Caleb Plant next as he bids to collect the fourth and final belt in the 168-pound division and promoter Hearn agrees, saying: “The Plant fight is the only fight to make for @Canelo, hopefully Caleb feels the same way and we can do it in September!”
