Chicago State University Releases President Tinubu Academic Records
Chicago State University has released President Tinubu Academic Records.
Newsone reports that the Chicago State University has released the academic records of President Bola Tinubu following a request by former Vice President and 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
This online news platform understands that the development followed the order by an Illinois court which ordered the varsity to release the academic records as requested by Atiku, who is the Peoples Democratic Party candidate in the February 25, 2023 presidential election.
Atiku obtained victory at the court in his fierce legal battle to probe into the academic qualification of Tinubu in the February 25 presidential poll.
Newsone Nigeria reports that Tinubu had supplied certificates from the Chicago State University, CSU, to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to secure eligibility to participate in the election.
A United States of America court on Saturday ordered CSU to release Tinubu’s academic records for verification and in support of Atiku’s petition challenging the result of the 2023 presidential poll.
In a judgment, Justice Nancy Maldonado dismissed the objection raised by Tinubu against Atiku’s request and expressly ordered that the CSU submit the academic records to Atiku. The school has obeyed the court order, releasing the documents on Monday night.
