Coronavirus in Nigeria has risen to 89 with the confirmation of 8 new cases by the NCDC.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced eight confirmed cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19), increasing the total number to 89 in Nigeria.

Giving an update on the spread of the disease, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) tweeted: “8 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March, there are 89 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.

“As at 04:00 pm 28th March, there are 89 confirmed cases 1 death For a breakdown of cases by states in real-time, please see covid19.ncdc.gov.ng Currently; Lagos- 59 FCT- 14 Ogun- 3 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 1 Oyo- 3 Edo- 2 Bauchi- 2 Osun-1 Rivers-1 Benue- 1,” the tweet added.
