Coronavirus has killed Pep Guardiola’s mother.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the mother of the Manchester City manager, Dolors Sala Carrio died at age 82 years old after contracting COVID-19.
A statement by Manchester City reads as thus; “The Manchester City family are devastated to report the death today of Pep’s mother Dolors Sala Carrió in Manresa, Barcelona after contracting Corona Virus.
“Everyone associated with the club sends their most heartfelt sympathy at this most distressing time to Pep, his family and all their friends,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, Pep Guardiola was yet to issue a statement regarding his mother’s death.
