Court has delivered judgment on Secondus and PDP National Convention.
Newsone reports that a court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, southern Nigeria, has declared that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention scheduled for tomorrow October 30 will hold as planned.
This online news platform understands that the development followed the decision of the three-man Appeal Panel sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to dismiss an interlocutory injunction suit filed by its embattled former national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, seeking to stop the convention from holding.
Justice Gabriel Kolawole who read the the judgement, said Secondus’ suit before it was as after-thought and abuse of court process.
The Port Harcourt based court blamed him for not acting when his ward and local governments suspended him until now.
Meanwhile Newsone Nigeria reports that the Port Harcourt based court urged the PDP to go on with the planned convention.
