News One reports that former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has reached an agreement to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr in a deal worth €200 million per year.

This online news platform understands that after weeks of speculation, Ronaldo’s short-lived experience as a free agent has ended. After cutting ties with United back in November, the Portugal international has agreed on terms to join Saudi outfit Al-Nassr.

Confirming the deal in a club statement published on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, Al Nassr wrote: “History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves”.

Speaking on Al Nassr move, News One Nigeria reports that Cristiano Ronaldo said: “I’m thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring”.

“I’m very excited to join my teammates, and to help the team to achieve more success”.
