Edo Deputy Speaker has been impeached.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Yekini Idiaye, was impeached on Wednesday during a plenary session of the Assembly in Benin City, the Edo State capital.

The impeachment of the Edo Deputy Speaker is after he declared his support for Pastor Ize Iyamu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party.
