FG has cleared outstanding stipends of 7500 NSIP Monitors.
Newsone reports that the President Muhammadu Buhari government through the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDSD) has cleared outstanding stipends of all 7,500 Independent monitors for the National Social Intervention Program (NSIP).
This online news platform understands that this was made known in a post on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, January 16, 2023, by Nneka Ikem, the Special Assistant, Media & Publicity to the Hon Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq.
She wrote: “Breaking!!! @FMHDSD clears outstanding stipends of all 7,500 #Independentmonitors for #NSIP. If you haven’t received yours, please gather here.”
While giving an update in regards to the stipend payment of the NSIP independent monitors, Ikem called on those who are yet to receive their payment to come forward with their complaints.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that while the stipends of the 7500 NSIP independent monitors are paid, the Npower batch C stream 2 beneficiaries under the same NSIP program are patiently waiting for their 3-month outstanding stipends to be paid.
