Major General Henry Udumebraye Clark, a former Secretary of the Nigerian Military and one-time Registrar of the Nigerian Defence Academy, has passed away.

YaahooJournalist reports that late Henry Clark is a younger brother of elder statesman and the convener of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), Edwin Kiagbodo Clark.

The former Nigerian Military Secretary died on Tuesday at his residence in Enerhen, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

Family sources say the late military general was found dead in his bedroom when he was to be informed of waiting for visitors at his residence on Tuesday afternoon, NigerDeltaToday reports. It was not clear if the deceased was sick before his passage.

Niger Delta Today correspondent who visited his country-home in Kiagbodo, Burutu LGA of the state, observed residents discussing his passage amidst tears.

The report said a member of Clark’s family confirmed the incident when contacted but pleaded not to be mentioned.
