Former Nigerian Senator is dead.

Newsone reports that a former Nigerian Senator, Francis Arthur Nzeribe is dead.

This online news platform understands that Arthur Nzeribe died at the age of 83 on Sunday morning, May 8, 2022. The former Nigerian Senator died of an undisclosed ailment at a foreign hospital.

“He died this morning in a hospital abroad. The family will soon release a statement,” a family source told Sahara Reporters.

Newsone Nigeria reports that before his death, Nzeribe was elected a Senator to represent Orlu of Imp State, southeast Nigeria in 1999. In November 2002, Anyim Pius Anyim, a former Senate President, suspended Nzeribe indefinitely over an allegation of N22 million fraud.
