Former Super Eagles midfielder is dead.

Newsone reports that a former Super Eagles midfielder, Emmanuel Ebiede is dead.

This online news platform understands that the former Super Eagles midfielder died in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Friday, April 14, 2023, after suffering Hepatomegaly.

Newsone Nigeria gathered that 47-year-old Ebiede gave up the ghost at the Rivers State University Teaching Hospital.

The former Super Eagles midfielder is survived by his wife and three children.

Former Super Eagles midfielder, Emmanuel Ebiede.

Before his death, Ebiede was part of the Flying Eagles squad at the African Youth Championship on home soil in 1995.

The former Super Eagles midfielder won only two caps for the senior Nigeria national team, making his debut under Serbian Bora Milutinovic in the 1-0 win over Iran in a friendly match played before the 1998 World Cup.
