Newsone reports that suspected Fulani herdsmen have reportedly killed at least 26 farmers in Tor-Damisa village of Donga Local Government Council.
This online news platform understands that Tor-Damisa is dominated by Tiv-speaking people of Benue State, northcentral Nigeria.
A report monitored on IDOMA VOICE by Newsone Nigeria, noted that over 100 houses were burnt down by the attackers, adding that most of the victims were women and children.
Newsone understands that the village head of the community, Zaki Ugondo Uma, confirmed the attack, saying that they have so far recovered 26 corpses.
At the moment, Tor-Damisa is now a ghost town as residents of the community have fled to neoughboring villages and local governments, the report added.
