Jose Mourinho Bags New Job After Tottenham Sack

Jose Mourinho has been sacked.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur, has sacked Jose Mourinho after the team’s dire run of form.

This online news platform understands that Spurs were top of the Premier League and flying in November but now find themselves seventh in the table and five points off the top four with five games remaining.

The North London outfit were also knocked out of the Europa League by Dinamo Zagreb in embarrassing fashion.

Jose Mourinho sacked

According to John Percy from The Telegraph, former Chelsea and Manchester United manager Mourinho has been relieved of his duties before Spurs contest the League Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley next Sunday.

Percy tweeted: “Breaking: Tottenham have sacked Jose Mourinho. Full story to follow.”

Jose Mourinho’s last game in charge of Spurs was a 2-2 draw with Everton on Friday night at Goodison Park.

Former Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason and Chris Powell are poised to take charge of the team for the rest of the season.
