Kamala Harris has declared for the US Presidential Election 2024.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, has declared her intentions to run for the presidency.

The US Vice President declared her intentions to run for the US Presidential Election in 2024 after she was endorsed by President Joe Biden on Sunday, July 21, 2024. This comes as Biden bowed to pressure and stepped down from the presidential race following age and health concerns.

However, reacting to her endorsement, Harris vowed to ensure that the Democrats win the upcoming presidential election.

The US Vice President also vowed to unite all aggrieved Democrats.

According to Harris: “I am honored to have the President’s endorsement and my intention is to earn and win this nomination.

“Over the past year, I have traveled across the country, talking with Americans about the clear choice in this momentous election. And that is what I will continue to do in the days and weeks ahead.

“I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party — and unite our nation – to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda.

“We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.”
