BREAKING: Ahmad Lawan Speaks On Appealing Yobe North Judgment

Lawan is in a closed-door meeting with National Assembly Workers.

Newsone reports that the President of the Nigerian Senate, Ahmed Lawan, is currently in a closed-door meeting with executives of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria.

This online news platform understands that the Senate President’s meeting with the National Assembly Workers started at about 4:30 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, when the Senate President got to the National Assembly complex.

Despite inviting the media to the meeting, Newsone Nigeria reports that members of the executive refused to allow the press access to the complex.

Meanwhile, Newsone recalls that PASAN had commenced indefinite strike action on Monday, June 6, 2022, following the failure of the management of the National Assembly to keep to the terms of a Memorandum of Understanding it entered with the National Assembly Workers on full payment of arrears of salary and allowances.
