Mandilas Building at Balogun Market in Lagos Island is on fire.

Newsone Nigeria reports that a warehouse in Mandilas Building, Broad Street in Balogun Market in Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city is on fire.

This online news platform understands that the cause of Mandilas Building fire was yet to be identified as of the time of filing this report.

According to the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Mandilas Building fire started on the first floor and has now reached the fourth floor.

The Director, of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye, said emergency responders from the Ebute Elefun and Sari Iganmu Fire Stations are currently at the scene to curb further escalation and put the situation under control.

Newsone gathered that emergency responders currently at the scene of the fire incident include the Lagos State Fire Service, Nigeria Police Force, and Rapid Response Squad as well as the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.
