Many people have been trapped as Abuja Shopping Mall collapses.

Newsone reports that an unspecified number of persons have been trapped as a building collapsed in Kubwa, Federal Capital Territory, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT,) Abuja.

This online news platform understands that the Abuja Shopping Mall collapse occurred on Friday morning, August 26, 2022, near Freedom Christ Mission Church, Kubwa, Bwari Area Council.

A report monitored on DAILY POST by Newsone Nigeria quoted a resident, who confirmed the Abuja Shopping Mall collapse to DAILY POST, to have said that the “building was a new hotel yet to function.”

According to the resident, the level of damage of the Abuja Shopping Mall collapse is yet to be ascertained, stressing that the rescue team is currently on the ground.
