Another top aide of Governor Godwin Obaseki has resigned ahead of Edo 2020.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that Senior Special Assistant to Obaseki on Gender, Agatha Onos tendered her resignation on Wednesday, August 5.

The top Obaseki’s aide in a letter of resignation submitted to the Edo Governor said her resignation is as a result of her loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) where the Governor defected from to join the PDP.

Onos thanked the governor in the letter, for giving her an opportunity and privilege to serve in his administration.

Meanwhile, Governor Obaseki who has seen many aides resign as the gubernatorial election draws near will contest the Edo governorship election scheduled for September 19 against Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the APC.
