Mother of Late President Yar’Adua is dead.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the mother of the former president of Nigeria, the late Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Hajia Dada is dead.

This online news platform understands that Hajia Dada died at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Katsina State, after a brief illness on Monday, September 2, 2024.

The late Hajia Dada was aged 102.

Dada was also the mother of late Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the current Chairman, the Senate Committee on Army.

The burial arrangement for the late Hajia Dada will be announced later by the family.

Umaru Musa Yar’adua served as the president of Nigeria from 2007 until his death in May 2010.

He had previously served as the governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007.
