My Instagram Account Not Hacked… 2Face Confirms Divorce from Annie Idibia [Video]

2Face has confirmed his divorce from Annie Idibia, insisting that his Instagram account was not hacked.

Newsone Nigeria reports that Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer Innocent Ujah Idibia, known as 2Face or 2Baba, has confirmed that he and his wife, Annie Macaulay, have filed for divorce.

This online news platform had reported earlier that 2Face announced his divorce from Annie Macaulay in a post on social media network, Instagram on Sunday night, January 26, 2025.

In the post, 2Face said he and Annie “have been separated for a while now” and just filed for a divorce.

The post reads thus: “I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now, and currently filed Divorce. I would grant a press release soon to say my story.. not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life; but because I love my people and I need them to know my innocence or offense”

However, a few minutes after the post went viral, another post appeared on the same Instagram account, saying that his page was hacked and that he was working to retrieve it from the hackers.

“My Instagram account has been hacked, efforts are being carried out to take back control,” 2Baba wrote on his Instagram page.

After the post about his Instagram account being hacked, 2Face appeared in a video, stating that his account was not hacked and that he wrote what appeared on his Instagram page.

“Nobody hack my account na me yarn weytin I yarn“, 2Baba said in the video which is circulating social media.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that 2Face and Annie Macaulay, a Nollywood actress, have been married for 13 years. The couple married in March 2012. They renewed their vows on a Beach in South Africa during season 2 of the reality show “ Young, Famous and African”.

Innocent Ujah Idibia (MON), known by his stage name 2Baba and formerly as 2Face Idibia, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist known for his solo debut album, Face 2 Face. On the other hand, Annie Macaulay–Idibia, is a Nigerian model, presenter, and actress. She was nominated in the “Best Supporting Actress” category at the 2009 Best of Nollywood Awards.
