BREAKING: Nigeria Records 10 New COVID-19 Cases, See All Affected States

Nigeria has again recorded 10 new COVID-19 cases in the country.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 10 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday morning, April 5.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the ten coronavirus cases recorded on Sunday morning, 6 were detected in Lagos and 2 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja and 2 in Edo State, southern Nigeria.

The  NCDC tweeted: “Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo. As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths.

“As at 11:15am 5th April, there are 224 confirmed cases 27 discharged 5 deaths For a breakdown of cases by states- http://covid19.ncdc.gov.ng Lagos- 115 FCT- 45 Osun- 20 Oyo- 9 Akwa Ibom- 5 Ogun- 4 Edo- 9 Kaduna- 4 Bauchi- 6 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-1 Benue- 1 Ondo- 1,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus has risen to two hundred and twenty-four (224) with twenty-seven (27) people discharged and five (5 ) deaths recorded.
