Nigeria Records 16 New COVID-19 Cases, See All Affected States
Nigeria has again recorded 16 new COVID-19 cases in the country.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 16 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Tuesday evening, April 7.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the sixteen coronavirus cases recorded on Tuesday evening, 10 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 2 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, 2 in Oyo State, 1 in Katsina State and 1in Delta State (the first case recorded in the state).
The NCDC tweeted: “Sixteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 10 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Delta and 1 in Katsina As at 09:30 pm 7th April there are 254 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Forty-four, have been discharged with six deaths.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to two hundred and fifty-four (254) with forty-four(44) people discharged and six (6 ) deaths recorded.
