Nigeria Records 170 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State
Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 170 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 170 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, May 3.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 170 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 39 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 29-Kano 24-Ogun 18-Bauchi 15-Kaduna 12-FCT 12-Sokoto 8-Katsina 7-Borno 3-Nasarawa 2-Adamawa 1-Oyo, southwest Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “170 new cases of #COVID19; 39-Lagos 29-Kano 24-Ogun 18-Bauchi 15-Kaduna 12-FCT 12-Sokoto 8-Katsina 7-Borno 3-Nasarawa 2-Adamawa 1-Oyo 2558 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 400 Deaths: 87,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to two thousand, five hundred and fifty-eight(2558) with four hundred (400) people discharged and eighty-seven (87) deaths recorded so far.
