BREAKING: Nigeria Records 182 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 182 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 182 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, May 28.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 182 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 111 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, FCT-16 Akwa Ibom-10 Oyo-8 Kaduna-6 Delta-6 Rivers-5 Ogun-4 Ebonyi-4 Kano-3 Plateau-2 Gombe-2 Kebbi-1 Kwara-2 Bauchi-1 Borno-1, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “182 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-111 FCT-16 Akwa Ibom-10 Oyo-8 Kaduna-6 Delta-6 Rivers-5 Ogun-4 Ebonyi-4 Kano-3 Plateau-2 Gombe-2 Kebbi-1 Kwara-2 Bauchi-1 Borno-1 8915 cases of #COVID19Nigeria Discharged: 2592 Deaths: 259,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to eight thousand, nine hundred and fifteen (8915) with two thousand, five hundred and ninety-two (2592) people discharged and two hundred and fifty-nine (259) deaths recorded so far.
