Nigeria Records 2 New Coronavirus Deaths, 20 New COVID-19 Cases
Nigeria has recorded 2 new coronavirus deaths and 20 new COVID-19 cases.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 20 new COVID-19 cases and 2 new coronavirus deaths in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday evening, April 3.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that the two coronavirus deaths in Nigeria were recorded in Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city and Edo State, southern Nigeria.s
COVID-19 update in Nigeria (10:30 pm, April 3)
On the 20 new COVID-19 cases, the NCDC said 11 cases were recorded in Lagos, 3 in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun and 1 in Ondo State, southwest Nigeria. This brings the number of cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria to 210, with 25 people discharged and four deaths recorded.
Giving an update on the COVID-19 cases in the country, the NCDC tweeted: “Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria”.
