BREAKING: Nigeria Records 245 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 245 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 245 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, May 4.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 245 COVID-19 cases recorded on Monday evening, 76 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 37-Katsina 32-Jigawa 23-Kano 19-FCT 18-Borno 10-Edo 9-Bauchi 6-Adamawa 5-Oyo 5-Ogun 1-Ekiti 1-Osun 1-Benue 1-Niger 1-Zamfara, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “245 new cases of #COVID19; 76-Lagos 37-Katsina 32-Jigawa 23-Kano 19-FCT 18-Borno 10-Edo 9-Bauchi 6-Adamawa 5-Oyo 5-Ogun 1-Ekiti 1-Osun 1-Benue 1-Niger 1-Zamfara 2802 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 417 Deaths: 93,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to two thousand, eight hundred and two (2802) with four hundred and seventeen (417) people discharged and ninety-three (93) deaths recorded so far.
