Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 276 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 276 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Tuesday evening, May 26.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 276 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 161 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Rivers-36 Edo-27 Kaduna-19 Nasarawa-10 Oyo-6 Kano-4 Delta-3 Ebonyi-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 Ondo-1 Borno-1 Abia-1 Bauchi-1, northern Nigeria Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “276 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-161 Rivers-36 Edo-27 Kaduna-19 Nasarawa-10 Oyo-6 Kano-4 Delta-3 Ebonyi-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 Ondo-1 Borno-1 Abia-1 Bauchi-1 8344 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 2385 Deaths: 249,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to eight thousand, three and forty-four (8344) with two thousand, three hundred and eighty-five (2385) people discharged and two hundred and forty-nine (249) deaths recorded so far.
