Nigeria Records 288 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State
Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 288 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 288 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday evening, May 15.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 288 COVID-19 cases recorded on Friday evening, 179 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 20-Kaduna 15-Katsina 15-Jigawa 13-Borno 11-Ogun 8-Kano 7-FCT 4-Niger 4-Ekiti 3-Oyo 3-Delta 3-Bauchi 2-Kwara 1-Edo, south-south Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “288 new cases of #COVID19; 179-Lagos 20-Kaduna 15-Katsina 15-Jigawa 13-Borno 11-Ogun 8-Kano 7-FCT 4-Niger 4-Ekiti 3-Oyo 3-Delta 3-Bauchi 2-Kwara 1-Edo 5445 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 1320 Deaths: 171,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to five thousand, four hundred and forty-five (5445) with one thousand, three hundred and twenty (1320) people discharged and one hundred and seventy-one (171) deaths recorded so far.
