BREAKING: Nigeria Records 313 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 313 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 313 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Sunday evening, May 24.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 313 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 148 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city,36-FCT 27-Rivers 19-Edo 13-Kano 12-Ogun 11-Ebonyi 8-Nasarawa 8-Delta 7-Oyo 6- Plateau 5-Kaduna 4-Kwara 3-Akwa Ibom 3-Bayelsa 2-Niger 1-Anambra, south-east Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “313 new cases of #COVID19; 148-Lagos 36-FCT 27-Rivers 19-Edo 13-Kano 12-Ogun 11-Ebonyi 8-Nasarawa 8-Delta 7-Oyo 6- Plateau 5-Kaduna 4-Kwara 3-Akwa Ibom 3-Bayelsa 2-Niger 1-Anambra 7839 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 2263 Deaths: 226,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to seven thousand and eight hundred and thirty-nine (7839) with two thousand, two hundred and sixty-three (2263) people discharged and two hundred and twenty-six (226) deaths recorded so far.
