Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 339 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 339 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, May 21.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 339 COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday evening, 139 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city,28-Kano 28-Oyo 25-Edo 22-Katsina 18-Kaduna 14-Jigawa 13-Yobe 13-Plateau 11-FCT 8-Gombe 5-Ogun 4-Bauchi 4-Nasarawa 3-Delta 2-Ondo 1-Rivers 1-Adamawa, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “339 new cases of #COVID19; 139-Lagos 28-Kano 28-Oyo 25-Edo 22-Katsina 18-Kaduna 14-Jigawa 13-Yobe 13-Plateau 11-FCT 8-Gombe 5-Ogun 4-Bauchi 4-Nasarawa 3-Delta 2-Ondo 1-Rivers 1-Adamawa 7016 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 1907 Deaths: 211,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to seven thousand and sixteen (7016) with one thousand, nine hundred and seven (1907) people discharged and two hundred and eleven (211) deaths recorded so far.
