BREAKING: Nigeria Records 34 COVID-19 Cases, See All Affected States

Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 34 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 34 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Wednesday evening, April 15.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the thirty-four coronavirus cases recorded on Wednesday evening, 18 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 12 in Kano 2 in Katsina 1 in Delta and 1 in Niger State, northern Nigeria.BREAKING: Nigeria Records 34 COVID-19 Cases, See All Affected States

The NCDC tweeted: “Thirty-four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows: 18 Lagos 12 in Kano 2 in Katsina 1 in Delta 1 in Niger As at 11:20 pm 15th April there are 407 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 128 have been discharged with 12 deaths.

“As at 11:20 pm 15th April, number of states with confirmed cases of #COVID19: 19 + FCT Lagos- 232 FCT- 58 Osun- 20 Kano- 16 Edo- 15 Oyo- 11 Ogun- 9 Katsina- 7 Bauchi- 6 Kaduna- 6 Akwa Ibom- 6 Kwara- 4 Delta- 4 Ondo- 3 Enugu- 2 Ekiti- 2 Rivers-2 Niger- 2 Benue- 1 Anambra- 1,” the tweet added.

Thirty-four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:

12 in Kano
2 in Katsina
1 in Delta
1 in Niger

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to four hundred and seven (407) with one hundred and twenty-eight (128) people discharged and twelve (12 ) deaths recorded so far.
