Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 387 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 387 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday evening, May 29.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 182 COVID-19 cases recorded on Sunday evening, 254 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, FCT-29 Jigawa-24 Edo-22 Oyo-15 Rivers-14 Kaduna-11 Borno-6 Kano-3 Plateau-2 Yobe-2 Gombe-2 Bauchi-2 Ondo-1, southwest Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “387 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-254 FCT-29 Jigawa-24 Edo-22 Oyo-15 Rivers-14 Kaduna-11 Borno-6 Kano-3 Plateau-2 Yobe-2 Gombe-2 Bauchi-2 Ondo-1 9302 cases of #COVID19Nigeria Discharged: 2697 Deaths: 261,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to nine thousand, three hundred and two (9302) with two thousand, six hundred and ninety-seven (2697) people discharged and two hundred and sixty-one (261) deaths recorded so far.
