Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 594 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 594 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, June 25.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 594 COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday evening, 159 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Delta-106 Ondo-44 FCT-34 Edo-34 Oyo-33 Kaduna-33 Enugu-28 Katsina-25 Imo-22 Adamawa-15 Ogun-12 Osun-11 Abia-8 Rivers-6 Nasarawa-5 Bauchi-5 Niger-5 Kebbi-4 Ekiti-3 Plateau-1 Taraba-1, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “594 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-159 Delta-106 Ondo-44 FCT-34 Edo-34 Oyo-33 Kaduna-33 Enugu-28 Katsina-25 Imo-22 Adamawa-15 Ogun-12 Osun-11 Abia-8 Rivers-6 Nasarawa-5 Bauchi-5 Niger-5 Kebbi-4 Ekiti-3 Plateau-1 Taraba-1 22,614 confirmed 7,822 discharged 549 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-two thousand six hundred and fourteen (22,614) with seven thousand, eight hundred and twenty-two (7,822) people discharged and five hundred and forty-nine (549) deaths recorded so far.
