Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 681 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 681 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday evening, June 11.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 681 COVID-19 cases recorded on Thursday evening, 345 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Rivers-51 Ogun-48 Gombe-47 Oyo-36 Imo-31 Delta-28 Kano-23 Bauchi-18 Edo-12 Katsina-12 Kaduna-9 Anambra-7 Jigawa-5 Kebbi-4 Ondo-4 Nasarawa-1, northern Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “681 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-345 Rivers-51 Ogun-48 Gombe-47 Oyo-36 Imo-31 Delta-28 Kano-23 Bauchi-18 Edo-12 Katsina-12 Kaduna-9 Anambra-7 Jigawa-5 Kebbi-4 Ondo-4 Nasarawa-1 Total of 14,554 cases of #COVID19Nigeria 4,494 discharged 387 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to fourteen thousand, five hundred and fifty-four (14,554) with four thousand, four hundred and ninety-four (4,494) people discharged and three hundred and eighty-seven (387) deaths recorded so far.
