Nigeria has recorded new Coronavirus cases with the NCDC announcing 684 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 684 new Coronavirus cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Friday evening, June 26.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 684 COVID-19 cases recorded on Friday evening, 259 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, Oyo-76 Katsina-69 Delta-66 Rivers-46 Ogun-23 Edo-22 Osun-22 Ebonyi-21 FCT-20 Kaduna-16 Ondo-10 Imo-9 Abia-9 Gombe-5 Plateau-4 Bauchi-4 Ekiti-2 Anambra-1, southeast Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: 684 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-259 Oyo-76 Katsina-69 Delta-66 Rivers-46 Ogun-23 Edo-22 Osun-22 Ebonyi-21 FCT-20 Kaduna-16 Ondo-10 Imo-9 Abia-9 Gombe-5 Plateau-4 Bauchi-4 Ekiti-2 Anambra-1 23,298 confirmed 8,253 discharged 554 deaths,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, NewsOne Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-three thousand, two hundred and ninety-eight (23,298) with eight thousand, two hundred and fifty-three (8,253) people discharged and five hundred and fifty-four (554) deaths recorded so far.
