Nigeria Records 87 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State
Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 87 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 87 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday evening, April 25.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the eighty-seven coronavirus cases recorded on Saturday evening, 33 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 18 in Borno 12 in Osun 9 in Katsina 4 in Kano 4 in Ekiti 3 in Edo 3 in Bauchi 1 in Imo, southeast Nigeria.
The NCDC tweeted: “87 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported; 33 in Lagos 18 in Borno 12 in Osun 9 in Katsina 4 in Kano 4 in Ekiti 3 in Edo 3 in Bauchi 1 in Imo As at 11:55 pm 25th April there are 1182 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 222 Deaths: 35,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to One thousand and one hundred and eighty-two (1182) with two hundred and twenty-two (222) people discharged and thirty-five (35) deaths recorded so far.
