BREAKING: Nigeria Records I46 COVID-19 Cases, See Breakdown For Each State

Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 146 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 146 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Tuesday evening, May 12.

This burgeoning online news platform understands that the NCDC noted that of the 146 COVID-19 cases recorded on Tuesday evening, 57 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 27-Kano 10-Kwara 9-Edo 8-Bauchi 7-Yobe 4-Kebbi 4-Oyo 3-Katsina 3-Niger 2-Plateau 2-Borno 2-Sokoto 2-Benue 1-Gombe 1-Enugu 1-Ebonyi 1-Ogun 1-FCT 1-Rivers, south-south Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “146 new cases of #COVID19; 57-Lagos 27-Kano 10-Kwara 9-Edo 8-Bauchi 7-Yobe 4-Kebbi 4-Oyo 3-Katsina 3-Niger 2-Plateau 2-Borno 2-Sokoto 2-Benue 1-Gombe 1-Enugu 1-Ebonyi 1-Ogun 1-FCT 1-Rivers 4787 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria Discharged: 959 Deaths: 158,” the tweet added.

Meanwhile, Newsone Nigeria reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to four thousand, seven hundred and eighty-seven (4787) with nine hundred and fifty-nine(959) people discharged and one hundred and fifty-eight (158) deaths recorded so far.
