The Nigerian Union of Pensioners has protested unpaid 35-month entitlements.
Newsone Nigeria reports that retirees under the aegis of the Nigerian Union of Pensioners, representing various agencies including NITEL, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, and Nigerian Railway Corporation, on Monday, August 11, 2025, took to the streets protesting their unpaid entitlements.
This online news platform understands that the entitlements are up to 35 months’ pension arrears, and non-payment of the N35,000 palliative.
The aggrieved pensioners also called on the Federal Government to give a specific time for the payment of their entitlements, even as they decried the untold hardship they suffer daily.
