Obaseki Dumps APC Ahead Of Edo 2020
The governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party ahead of Edo 2020.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that Governor Obaseki disclosed this to State House Correspondents on Tuesday on his way out of Aso Rock, the Presidential Villa.
The Edo State Governor also debunked allegations that his credentials were not original.
Governor Obaseki tweeted: “I have officially resigned my membership of the All Progressives Congress (@OfficialAPCNg) after meeting with the CoS to @MBuhari.
“We shall continue the battle to protect the interest of Edo people and sustain good governance in the state.”
