Newsone Nigeria reports that the Organised Labour on Wednesday pulled out of the ongoing minimum wage negotiations with the Federal Government.

The development came after the Federal Government and the Organized Private Sector, OPS, made an offer of N48,000 and N54,000 wage respectively.
The organized labour described the offer as “ridiculous”.
It was gathered that the Federal Government did not provide any data to back up its proposal unlike Organised Labour, OPS on the other hand, said none of its members pays less than N78,000.
Benson Upah, spokesman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), confirmed the exit to DAILY POST via telephone call.
The NLC spokesman said, “Yes we are out. We are about to address the press and you will get the details then”.
