Oyigbo In Port Harcourt Under Attack (Video)

A screenshot of a video clip of the Oyigbo attack.

Oyigbo in Port Harcourt is currently under attack.

Newsone Nigeria reports that Oyigbo is a town 30 kilometers from the port city of Port Harcourt and a local government area of Rivers State, south-south Nigeria. It is a satellite of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The ongoing attack in Oyigbo LGA in Rivers State is coming a few hours after President Muhammadu Buhari addressed Nigerians on #EndSARS protests and police brutality during which he suspended #EndSARS protests which was ongoing across Nigeria until a massacre of the peaceful protesters by soldiers of the Nigerian Army.

The President in a nationwide broadcast on Thursday night, suspended protests across the nation. He said the suspension follows the violent turn of #ENDSARS protests across the Federation, which have been hijacked by hoodlums.

President Buhari said: “I therefore call on our youths to discontinue the street protests and constructively engage government in finding solutions.

“Your voice has been heard loud and clear and we are responding,” President Buhari added.

If you are awake. Please spread the news. THERE IS A MASSACRE GOING ON IN OYIGBO RIVERS STATE. THEY ARE MOVING FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. KILLING PEOPLE. If you can tweet this please tweet it. Let it be everywhere! I’m begging!!!! https://t.co/RGw5a1Du2e
