PDP BoT Chairman Adolphus Wabara Suspended

PDP BoT Chairman Adolphus Wabara has been suspended.

Newsone Nigeria reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party, has suspended the Board of Trustees, BoT, chairman of the party, Chief Adolphus Wabara.

This online news platform understands that the State Working Committee of the party in Abia State, southeast Nigeria, suspended the PDP BoT Chairman.

The decision was taken during a meeting presided over by the Abia State PDP Chairman, Abraham Amah, a source familiar with the development said.

This is believed to be a continuation of the power play between loyalists of the former PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

Wike’s man and former governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has firm control of the Abia PDP.
