Newsone reports that a fuel-laden tanker has exploded on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. According to info available to Newsone Nigeria, the tanker caught fire at OPIC on Friday evening, October 6, 2023.

This online news platform understands that the petrol tanker incident occurred at OPIC in Isheri, Ogun State on the Lagos outbound lane of the expressway. This has resulted in traffic on both ends of the expressway, with many abandoning their vehicles and fleeing to safety.
