Ibadan Serial Killer, Sunday Shodipo has been rearrested by the police.
NewsOne Nigeria reports that the Oyo State Police Command has rearrested Sunday Shodipo, the suspected serial killer in Akinyele.
The 19-year-old Shodipe escaped from police custody barely a week ago.
Olugbenga Fadeyi, Police Public Relations Officer of Oyo Police Command, confirmed the development to The Nation.
The Oyo Police Command spokesman said details of the re-arrest would be made available shortly. He confirmed the suspect has been kept in safer custody.
Meanwhile, the arrest of the Ibadan Serial Killer is coming after the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu sent in a crack team of detectives to complement the efforts of the officers of the command after Shodipe escaped from custody.
