Newsone Nigeria reports that the former Commissioner of Health in Nasarawa State, northcentral Nigeria, Dr Bawa Ahmed Abimiku is dead.

This online news platform understands that the Popular Northern Politician succumbed to a prolonged illness in the early hours of Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi, a family source, who confirmed the news, revealed.

Before his death, Bawa Ahmed Abimiku played a crucial role in the health sector, serving as both Commissioner and Member of the State Executive Council, SEC, during the administration of the late Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Akwe Doma.

Meanwhile, Newsone reports that Abimiku’s burial ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Abuja Central Mosque, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at 2:00 pm, today, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, according to Islamic tradition.
