Popular Twitter Commenter, Stanley Nwabia Dies

A popular Nigerian Twitter commenter, from the southern part of the country, Stanley Nwabia, has passed away.

YaahooJournalist reports that his death was disclosed on Sunday morning in various tweets by Nigerians commenting “Rest In Peace Stanley Nwabia.”

Before his death, he was known as a top critic of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government. He was also known to lend his voice to topical issues in Nigeria.

The last tweets of the Twitter commenter were published four days ago, September 25 to be precise.

One of his tweets read: “Stanley Nwabia, what is the pathway to securing a resilient future for your family?”

“Me: That time when rain was falling, I take umbrella outside. I come and see plenty people inside rain. But plenty breeze started blowing, it come and spoil my umbrella. So I come and go inside.”

That same day, the late Buhari critic, called for the release of Omoyele Sowore, who is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).

“Oh well, let bygones be bygones. #FreeSowore,” the late Nwabia tweeted September 25.

Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the cause of his death was yet to be ascertained.
