President Muhammadu Buhari has made new appointments in the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Nigeria’s burgeoning online news platform, NewsOne Nigeria reports.
NewsOne Nigeria reports President Buhari has appointed Professor Kemebradikumo Pondei as the new Acting Managing Director of the NDDC. Pondei will be taking over from Barr Joy Nunieh as Acting Managing Director of the commission following the reshuffling of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the NDDC.
This burgeoning online news platform understands that President Buhari also increased the number of committee members from three to five persons.

NewsOne Nigeria reports that the new committee members are: Dr Cairo Ojougboh, Ag. Executive Director (Projects); Mr Ibanga Bassey Etang, Ag. Executive Director (Finance and Administration); Mrs Caroline Nagbo (Member); and Cecilia Bukola Akintomide, OON, a former Vice President with African Development Bank, (member).
