Senegalese and Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has won the 2019 African Men’s Player of the Year for the first time in his career.

YaahooJournalist reports that the Senegal international beat off competition from teammate Mohammed Salah and Manchester City midfielder, Riyad Mahrez.

In 2019, Mane played a total of sixty-three (63) games, scored thirty-five (35) goals, made eleven (11) assists and won three (3) trophies.
